The effect is really great, objects seem to pop-out of the screen and
it feels you can look inside the monitor, especially for racing games
and fps games it's really cool. But first of all the glasses are a
pain to wear (at least the glasses that game with my Asus GF2 card),
for a 3d picture your computer has to show 2 pictures at the same
time, so you really have to turn down resolution/graphic options to
maintain a decent framerate, and after more than half an hour your
eyes start to hurt.
So.. it's fun for a while, but definately not worth paying much money
for. It's a gimmick and the novelty wears off soon.
Yup.. we really need those ***helmets for IL2..
