A pair of British inventors, David Trayner and Edwina Orr, have
created a cheap and workable 3D screen that requires special glasses.
The prototype has been put together using a standard LCD monitor and
is said to include bulldog clips and sticky tape to hold it together.
Their new company RealtyVision [typo could be PC Plus'] is to begin
production later this year. The two have no formal engineering
background but have worked producing holograms.
"Holographers kick themselves when they see how it works, it's so
***y simple" said Trayner.

appear anywhere from 8 inches in front to 16 inches behind the screen.
