I thought I saw a fix for this here....but now I can't find it.
Any suggestions?

PS: Both EA update patches are installed.
Havent installed it myself yet but here might be the solution for your
problem (cut&paste from f12001.com):
driver names and destroyed Prost team, when you want to start a race,
BOOING! it jumps to desktop and you can't race . Although you see all
the cars and names OK in the driver select menu.
The Solution is:
- Go to the map of BAR
- Open bar.hdv (in texpad or something like that)
- And than change TireBrand=bridgestone in TireBrand=generic
That's all.
