Thanks for the head's up Tim.

I am sure this is just a bit above their cost...so it's a great deal.

Are you sure it's Nr2k3 or an earlier version?   F1 2k1 was incorrectly
listed by several retailors  at the F1 2k price when it first was released.
Many retailors just don't know the difference between yearly updates.  You
can probably find some stores that sell N4 for more the 2k2 or 2k3.

Dave,

www.gogamer.com doesn't make those amateurish mistakes, they are on the
ball.  They know that this is a great price for the latest game and are
limiting the potential for folks to flip these on eBay with a limit of 1 per
customer.

BTW, it's a "DVD" case version (which sells for only $27.95 reg. price)
which leads me to reasonably guess that it's an EXPORT version since I
haven't seen any DVD case games in the US yet but I know they're popular in
Europe.  Perhaps they are getting these in the grey market and thus saving
on cost vs. the US version (photo supply firms do this all the time with
Kodak film which is made in the US yet can be bought cheaper overseas and
brought in via grey market).  Hey, it's a theory.  How the hell else are
they selling it for this low?

BTW, you're right about some dumb ass retailers out there.  I've seen N4 for
$49.99 recently.  Feel sorry for the poor SOB who buys it.

THe site did indeed confirm N2k3,  but they listing stated "Full English
Version."  Is that the UK or English language release?
Any compatiblity problems if it is the UK version?

Companies make this mistake with new games in a series all the time.
I picked up Tiger Woods 2003 for $20 at Best Buy when it first came
out, no sale...

It is in fact NR2003.  Gogamer (formerly compuexpert.com) has these fire
sales every week.  Many of us buy from this Etailer frequently.  This is a
DVD case version which is similar to the old days when you could buy a jewel
case version of a game.  You get no box, just the CD case and the CD case
abbreviated manual.  I doubt you will get the thicker manual that comes in
the boxed version.

Well since they release a new version every year I assume the "lifetime" of
the product is very short, so the sales start earlier then they would do on
a "normal" lifespan game....

And yes I know this is supposed to be the "last" nascar game, wait and
see...

Papy's manuals ain't what they used to be (dammit), so I don't see the
manual as a big loss.

NR2003 for $19.90

Minor gripe on the service.   I was able to purchase the product, and
my credit card actually had 25$$ left in the account.  But I specically
chose the POSTAL Service for delivery.  Since I work in the same building
that delivers my address, I could get the package dropped off at my case.
But gogamer just emailed me and said they have shipped it 2nd day Fed Ex.
Which is actually 4th day Fed Ex cuz the weekend is at hand.  AND, I won't
be home to receive said package.
ah well...I probably won't be using it til fall anyhow...:)  Not till the
next Bullrun 1000 fires up.

Sorry but you're wrong here.  It was $19.90 for 2003, you just missed the
sale (48 hour madness which they run all the time on different games).  It
was for the DVD case import version (UK) which is still available for less
than US version: $29.90.
