Can someone who installed the reactor on a packard hell please help me.
I got it installed but for some reason its still picking up the shitty
cirrus logic card.  Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?  i'm
brain dead when it comes to these things so any help would be muck

You should just have to disable the video card built in to the Packard
Smell motherboard.  (Usually jumpers on the Motherboard).  Refer to your
manual or CD
manual to find out how to do it on yours.  (Some are different than
others)

Hi there,
i got a Packard Bell (486dx2 66Mhz), but my Reactor is install on my
newest system. If your Packard Bell works the same, your video card is
integrated to the main board. On my system the way to turn off, the
video card is to put a jumper block on the main board. Just check
your Packard Bell manual, it should be explain which one.

Check the index of your manual, and lookup for jumper, and you should
see VGA(build in) enable/disable.

*** Be sure your computer is off, before putting the jumper block.

Hope this will help you

I installed my reactor with no trouble at all on my packard bell just
pluged it in and it disabled the on board cirrus and win95 picked it up
and asked for the new drivers, don't know why yours would not be working
what model is it and what version of windows do you have

It's also possible that you may be one of the 'lucky ones' in that all
you need to do is put the card in PCI slot #1 and the onboard video will
automatically disable...

I also have a Pack Hell (PB 450) and if anyone has done the PCI Riser
Card upgrade and/or have the required BIOS file 142623.exe (also known
as 142623 OR D495) PLEASE EMAIL!!!! It is apparently not available for
DL AND, although I've ordered it, IT IS BACK-ORDERED!! :o(
