I think that any new (legitimate) religion would be accepted if there
were enough followers, but the Census people got wind of our little
scam early. So they decided to foil it early by sending out press
releases, etc. It even made it into the daily paper lol.

geez guys.

i assumed so from the start, but i'm glad for the confimation, all of
you.

in another window, i am typing up the 'summarised' version of the
whole day for my brother & uncles in toronto & vancouver respectively.
reliving the day in an email is the only way i can concievably explain
it to the 2 of them without going through some tissues :)

the funny thing is that my eulogy/tribute was actually pretty funny.
i can't believe that all of us was crying.  it was sort of like the
ultimate bad audience for a lousy comedian.  i'm sure my uncle
approved though :)

Well, since we're here chatting about literature. Why not make a really
memorable film and game about those two books. It will begin and end with
Ring des Nibelungen and Lord of the Ring somewhere between the parts of Ring
des Nibelungen. We could even make it a live roleplaying event on the
Nrburgring. And ask John Frankenheimer to make a movie about it. The 1000
Km of the Nrburgring season 1967 would be a good setting.

Greetings

Olaf

Have you ever seen the funeral of one of the Monty Python members,
where John Cleese makes a speech? One of his funniest moments ever,
the whole audience was laughing madly. Superb :)

That must have been a Freudian slip ... Colin Chapman was the founder of
Lotus  The late, great member of Monty Python was Graham Chapman.
