Just installed the N2k2 patch and now N2k2 will just crash every now and
again.
i.e. Mid practice - pres Esc and go down to options. press enter. dumped to
Desktop.
click multiplayer. dumped to desktop
Not all the time - just sometimes.
Using - Athlon 1800+, 512 Mb Ram, Leadtek Ti4400 - 27.50 drivers - Hercules
Game Theater XP sound card - Win XP Pro.
Any ideas?

Uninstall the game, and reinstall from scratch, and then install patch.
See if that helps (that's what Papy people have been saying to do).
If you're running a GeForce card, you may have to try different drivers.

Well - it was a clean install of N2k2.
I had the Ti4400 OC'd to 4600 speed ( which would run 3dMark2001 all day no
problem) - clocking it back to 4400 speeds and N4 wont crash anymore
Very bizarre

Hm - still doing it ( again)
Took 4 tries to succesfully join a race - 3 time it just went "poof" and
dumped to desktop
I wonder if having my RAm as CAs 2 instead of Cas 2.5 has anything to do
with it
