SCGT - No FF

by Roge » Sat, 22 Jan 2000 04:00:00

Under recommendations from this group and associated links I puchased
a LWFF to play GPL. The wheel came with SCGT - but I don't get any FF
when I play.  Anyone know why?  It seems odd that a bundled game
doesn't support the item it's bundled with!

TIA

Have you checked off the box that enables FF?  It's in the options (I think)
under controllers (I think)

Daxe is right (I think ;-).
Maybe you just didn't notice it?
SCGT got one of the weakest FF-implementations anyhow, it's really odd to
bundle the wheel with this game.
Try setting FF to 150% and then go over a curb. Did you feel it?

Well the Guillemot wheel works fine with it - simple adoption compared with
GPL but good fun IMHO.

Dare I ask if enable FF is checked in options?

Thanks to all.  Due to poor documentation I hadn't even found the
relevant options where the wheel calibration was to be found!!!!!

It works fine now but as you say effects are a poor shadow of the GPL
implementation - the career mode might keep my interest for a while
but the lure of real physics will have be back soon...
