Rally Sims - any recommendation?

by reape » Tue, 14 Dec 1999 04:00:00

Basically I'm looking for the GPL of Rally sims. Great driving model is
mandatory and I would dig a good FF implementation. Customization a la GP 2
(not so much of tracks but of the cars' finish) would be the icing on the
cake.
Any advice, gents?
TIA -

There's no Rally sims that has all of this, but Rally Championship is the
closest to it.

Nope, no really good rally sims up to today. But in what's available now
I'd have to choose between CMR or RC2K. Still no sure which I like best,
they both have their strong and weak points.

Hello,
Rally Championship by Mobil is the one.  It is not as realistic as
GPL, but the force feedback effects are VERY good.  Plus, it is an
absolute blast with the ACT LABS Force RS Shifter.
Graphics on this game are sweet.
This is the game that eveyone here at work plays on our lunch breaks.

I think Rally Masters (Test Drive Rally in the US) should be the one to
keep an eye out for.

I have to concurr totally with this sensible comment.
