Rally Sims - port V-Rally to PC?

After playing RAC and enjoying it, then International Rally Championship
and hating it, then V-Rally and loving it, I think we need a 3dfx
enhanced marriage of the best of V-Rally and RAC. Each one's weaknesses is
addressed by the other's strengths:

RAC:
real rally stages
nice fog
comprehensive car setup
repairs
good sound
progressive steering
in-car view

V-Rally:
excellent frame rate (not so *** a dedicated, low-res console)
easy to induce slides by turning opposite to corner
immersive graphics (feels right)
better runoff (you can really stuff your car beore bumping into
the "invisible wall")
view stays in-car throughout an accident

Both of these need a realistic damage model.  V-Rally apparently can't
show damage due to licensing restrictions (?) and RAC has a weak
implementation of damage (ie. I can deliberately roll the car several times
with no damage).  Put the TOCA damage model into it!

Here's hoping the Codemasters rally sim is good, but TOCA was a poorly
ported product (super game, but very inefficient code).

V-Rally for Playstation is and has been ported to the PC and is 3DFX
enhanced
and supposed to be out next month in Europe. The conversion was done
by some
other company,

If you search the news on Operation 3.D.F.X.
http://o3dfx.allgames.com/ there
is a mention of it, Plus quite a few European Games Mags had pictures
from
the PC version in them a few months ago.
