Correct
No it does not. Glide is 3dfx's proprietary API for the Voodoo/Voodoo2
chipsets, the Rendition cards have their own proprietary API.
If he is talking about 3d support, he'll be sorely disappointed. N2 is
3d accelerated for Rendition- and 3dfx-based cards *only*. If you only
have a Riva, you can only run unaccelerated N2. Any driver changes that
boost 3d performance on the Riva will have no effect on N2 performance.
If they also boost 2d performance, then you may notice some changes.
