STB 128, New Dell and N2 Problems

I just spent a ton of money buying a new computer to run NROS.  Purchased a new
 Dell Pentium II with an STB Velocity 128 4meg video card.  Apparently, N2
 doesnt' like it.  Right after the intro video, I get what looks like static on
 the screen.  

Anyone have any advice?  Sierra support essentially told me to uninstall my
 video card.  Not going to do except as a last resort.
