Nascar 2 and STB-128 Problems.....

by Jim Dougla » Wed, 25 Sep 1996 04:00:00

Anybody else with the STB-128 or any other ET6000 cards having problems
with the colors in the nascar2 demo??? Mine looks ok in the setup screen
but in the game it looks like an old ega game or worse.
Please advise.
Thanks

Nascar 2 and STB-128 Problems.....

You're not alone.  It seem all the ET-6000 cards have the same problem.  I
have STB LS 128 and my setup screen is right, but in the demo the color
pallete is messed up.  The guys at Papyrus know this and should work out
the problem by November when they release it.  By the way, whats the deal
with the 8-bit sound?  I hope that's just an import from Nascar1 just for
the demo, and better sound later.  I have a AWE32 and would like a bit
better sound.  But from the demo, of what I could see, the game should be
easier for novices with the steering help, ala GP1 and GP2.
