Thrustmaster - What support!!!!

I know lots of people have posted saying that thrustmaster will send out
pedal springs, etc when you break on on your wheel, but my T2 is old and
way past warranty so I didn't think they would help me.
But Friday when I got home from work there was a small package waiting for
me with the pedal springs that I needed for my 4/5 year old T2.

What a great company that they support their products like that.  The only
thing that bothered me was the resistance from the spring.  I was used to
the multiple elastic band rigging that I'd attached (for 3 years now) and
the spring just doesn't offer the same resistance.

All I can say is that Thrustmaster has my business for years to come
because of their generosity, however, I would beg people not to take
advantage of them too much.  On a T2 that is 3 years old, Thrustmaster
is not obligated to ship you replacement parts everytime something
breaks; at least not free.  Springs only last so long.  Mine has broken
twice.  Thrustmaster replaced it once and I used a thick *** band the
second time.  I have several more of these *** bands that I can use
for the gas pedal and I still have a replacement spring for the brake.
When I can't do anything to make my T2 last 500 laps at Bristol, I'll
replace it with the newest Thrustmaster wheel, until then I'll keep
patching.

Now if I can only find a good supplier of 100K Ohm pots.

I gotta agree!

I live in Sydney, Australia and own a GP1 wheel.
I was having with the pots and couldn't find an
Aussie distributor listed on the net (not even on
Thrustmaster's web site so I Email TM in the
States with my suspected pot problem and within 5
days I had new pots arrive in the mail.

I was stunned. Excellent work!
