Thrustmaster Support - don't bother at the moment

Just a warning to all you Thrustmaster new owners out there.  I bought an
FLCS just after Christmas to find that all the connectors are AT and not
the usual 6-pin standard in most PCs now.  I mailed

send if you have 6-pin slots (and good Thrustmaster for doing this, most
companies would leave you***)....

the only problem they have an automailer on at the moment saying they're
snowed under at the moment with post Christmas problems and won't answer my
mail for several weeks.

Tough titties, if you were desparate to play your fave flight sim with your
new FLCS!  :-((

If you are really in a great need to get one, just give them a call, you
know the old fashioned way.  They should get out in one day!  I was just
on the phone with them Monday and received my replacement Thursday.

This is an industry standard.  I used to work for a Canadian retailer where we sold a lot
of Compaqs.  We used to nick name January Compaq month because we got 3-10 calls a day from
people who had gotten sick of spending hours on hold.
Even if you get through the service won't be good because the guy your talking to has just
spent 3-7 hours talking to people alot dumber than you.
