    I can run GPL ok with my 8 meg voodo2 but i wanted to run the rendition
version by using my installed 4 meg v1000 card......the game will not start
and i have to reinstall the game to be able to select 3dfx.......will it not
run on a v1000 card? the old demo did.....................

It will run on a v1000 card.  Mine dose.  I also have Voodo1 card.  I
switched from the Voodo to the Rendition and back again.  It ran fine
with the rendition, but was a few fps slower so I switched back.  No
problems switching back and forth.

are you using win98 and multiple user profiles on your system?  if so, login
by selecting cancel.

I got the game to run on my old V1000 card today just for kicks.  It
would not work correctly until I installed the Intergraph I3D 100
drivers (that's the card I have) rather than the default Windows 98
drivers.  You might give that a shot.

PS.  The antialiasing is pretty, but the Voodoo2 is -much- faster than
the V1000.  Maybe the Thriller is the way to go unless you have a
great 2D card already.
