ICR2 Rendition w/o Rendition?

ICR2 came bundled with my Screamin'3D video card a long time ago, but
I've recently upgraded to a Voodoo Banshee.  I'd still like to run ICR2
in software mode (since I no longer have Rendition and ICR2 doesn't
support 3DFX) but it doesn't seem possible (at least I can't figure it
out).  Do I have to buy the game again?

Yes...$9.95 (US) at most software houses.

Probably. Most of the OEM versions of software that came with specific
video cards require those cards to run (that's the way my Destruction Derby
2 and MechWarrior 2 are).  They intentionally require your card so that you
can't sell it off.  If you have no other .exe, they've only included the
Rendition version.
