Speaking of 36fps, has anyone ever found a way to increase that limit? Does
anyone know why Papy imposed such a low limit - after all, it's not like GPL
uses a silly CPU occupancy system like GPx. Even increasing the limit from
36fps to 50fps would make a considerable improvement to the driving
experience.

No, and if you do a search on this group, you'll soon discover that it's
been discussed to death several times before. This would be one of the many
improvements in GPL2 if it ever appears (just like NR2002 etc).
