I am desperate to go and buy F1 2001 - purely for the new GT mod that's available.  However, I don't want to go and buy it only to find that it doesn't work with the PC/wheel set-up.

So, can anyone confirm that they have it running on WinXP, Act Labs ForceRS and Act Labs Performance Pedals, using USB giving split axis.  GPL is the only game that seems to currently recognise my wheel config, not into Nascar but I assume that this would work to, and I'm just hoping that someone can confirm that they have the same system and it's working OK with F1 2001.

I run the GT mod in F1-2001 in win98-se with a Thrustmaster T2 wheel
for steering and the Act Labs performance pedals in USB with split
axes and F1-2001 recognises both controllers happily. The clutch works
well too, so I have the clutch help turned off. Just make sure you
push the clutch in when you spin or the car stalls :)
It should work in the same way on XP.

Don't be to sure on that. alot of Xp\Win2000 users can't get the split axis
to work, myself included. I would think that since the ACT-Labs performance
pedals are treated as a separate controller from the wheel the chances for
success should be higher.

Dave, ... hence my question as Rally Trophy, F1 Championship Season 2001,
Colin McRae Rally 2 all don't work with my set-up. :o(

perhaps I should mention that I have never actually used XP,
and was just assuming it would work. Silly me, if there's one
thing I've learned in the computer industry, it's to never
assume anything :)
