GP3 and GPxPatch

I know I've come to try out GPxPatch after everyone else, but with it and
the 2001 season update, I've had a chance to re-evaluate GP3 and frankly it
seems like a new experience!
So many of my gripes have been answered:
-positional 3D audio
-can now hear other cars
-sounds can be allocated to events
-'official' type graphics show relative position at the split time positions
-can now see the relative positions of all other cars
-track order editing
-split times now relate to the pole sitter
-all the messy 'sky messages' have been replaced
..... and many others.

old Voodoo5.
Still the same old clunky interface, but with good force feedback and
excellent physics, I'm really enjoying it!  More GP2.75 than GP2.5 now I
would say!
What are they going to put in the up and coming update?

GP3 and GPxPatch

The times here lately that I've mentioned GP3 as the most satisfying of the
major modern-era contenders, it was AFTER I installed the GPx patch--not
before.  I'm not looking for a lot in the update, if indeed it ever comes,
because I think the GP3 engine has been pushed just about as far as it can
be pushed.  Quite frankly, I can't imagine the update doing more than GPx
has already done.  Of course, there's always the hope I'm wrong!  :-)

Completely agree..

GPx completely changed GP3 into something very enjoyable.
