WOW!

just applied the recent release of the GPxPatch to GP3!

WOW!

we now have 3D sound!!!!

You can actually here the AI cars approaching from the rear!

:o)

I am glad I treated myself to a 4 speaker setup a few months back!

Pretty damn good!

But the 3D sound addition really makes the game fun! Heart-pumping
action to hear the scream of another car as it tries to slipstream
you at Monza! That was a blast!

Isn't it amazing that it took sim racer/programmer to make the 3D sound
happen? How lazy must the programmers for GP3 have been not to include
something as obvious as this and apparently not too difficult to implement?

telemetry??? what does it improve? i didn't notice anythig different when i
was fiddling with it

They have simulated the Tag Hauer timing system like on the TV broadcasts.
You can see it in the replays OR you can click on "show in***pit" under
GPxSaT to see it while in the***pit. I only had the very first release of
GPxPatch before 1.21, and this feature was not there.

get my current speed, and if I make the fastest lap, that's about all.

Pressing "c" will toggle the Tag Heur and the Siemens info screens.
The Siemens screen shows the current placing of all the cars...you
can scroll through the car placings as well. The controls are listed
in the readme/help files. I only wish that the TAG and Siemens screen
alternated automatically without requiring user involvement...bit
difficult whilst driving but it's fine in Replay mode.
