good old pentiums are a socket seven motherboard, p2's are a slot one. if you
can't afford to replace your motherboard and cpu ( abit bx6 or bh6 with a
celeron 300A overclocked to 450! less than $300 ) then your best upgrade is an
amd k6-300 which will pop right in your current motherboard for about $115.
don't spend the extra on the k6-2-300 as this requires a super seven mb for
optmium performance. have at least 64 meg ram and get an 8meg thriller.
