FF problems w/ GPL Thrushmaster wheel

asus p2b m/b, 128 meg, banchee video,Celeron 533, GPL 1.2.01....
Everything works great but I have no Force Feedback. It is enabled in
Core.ini (FF=1) What should I Look for???   Thanx for the thoughts...

Paste this lot into your core.ini. That will give you FF, then study the
readme11.txt  file included in the 1.1/1.2 patch for tweaking.

What is the wheel , you say Thrustmaster but what model ?

Make sure the file is named core.ini and not core.ini.ini or core.ini.sample
(which is the way it's named when you install the patch).

Did you get this problem sorted?
I had the same problem - I changed the core.ini to FF = 1 without success.
Eventually found that core.ini was *actually* core.ini.sample but, because I
had "hide file extensions" checked in Explore the .sample was not shown. I
renamed the file and now have wonderful FF :-)))
