F1 Locking up

F1 Locking up

Hi there all,

I've got a problem with F1RS. Basically, I'll be driving around and all of a
sudden it just locks up on me. Can't do anything other than hit Cntrl-Alt-Del,
and close it.

Any ideas to what can be causing it? It can happen the first time I start to
play, i.e. within 5 mins (3D card can't be overheating so soon can it?).

System details are PP200, 64Mb Ram, 4 Mb STB velocity, and 4Mb Monster 3D. I did
have problems with the Monster, but have had it replaced, so this card is new
and hasn't given me any other problems (or any thing wrong with any other games)

If all the SET commands are removed from your autoexec you should
be OK. If you are overclocking the card (I believe 56mhz is the default),
it could certainly cause the problem.

1.09 fixed the problem for me.
