Hey all. Based on a suggestion from Dave Henrie I sort of sent SCGT by the
wayside and grabbed a copy of F1 2001 just for the FIA GT mod. First
off.......I love it and may even s***SCGT altogether in favour of it. I
have DL'ed the first mod (ALMS) and the FIA GT V2 as well. I have tried the
second and with everything pretty much turned OFF I can actually drive
against other cars. Inside Test day mode I can turn the grphics all on full
and get great FPS. In anything else my FPS really suck. Is this because of
my system or is it kinda buggy ?? I am running an AMD 750 Duron, with a
GeForce 2 Ultra, and 320 megs ram. I am hoping that more upgrading can be
avoided and I am missing something that will allow for higher res running.
Here's hoping someone can help me.

  V3 is a better mod than V2 AND it gets better/faster framerates too!
   try different settings for the 3d config.  First make sure you don't have
either FSAA enable or that you have vsync turned on(which is the default
setting for d3d.)  You can't access the vsync setting through the normal
video properties, you need a small utility called coolbits or one of the
Nvidia tweek programs like Riva Tuner.
   generally choose a graphic and screen resolution that gives you the
highest triangle count that still looks reasonable.  With your processor,
I'd stay away from most of the larger screen sizes.
