i posted a replay at alt.binaries.simulators.autos (watch bruce mclaren) his
tire just falls off at spa. is this something that happens every so often?
it is the first time i have seen it. also, can you flat spot your tires in
gpl? i know wear does not come into play but what about damage? any
comments?

I had that happen at mosport, turn 2. I got by an eagle just at the last
turn and all of a sudden a tire went over my head and he ran into me. It
was pretty awesome.

Well I had a massive pile up once and the race list said I was out with a
puncture...

I watched Gurney lose a wheel ahead of me at Monza on the straight leading to
Parabolica. The wheel came right at me and I was so astounded I missed my
braking point as did the Ferrari behind me. It started a whole chain reaction
and four of us ended up in the sand. In the replay you could even see
suspension pieces go flying.

If you hit the wheels as you pass them, do they cause you any damage?

Is there a way to tweak how reliable each car will be, in training, of
course. For example, I'd love to set it right down so that almost every time
I start training, something goes wrong with the car. Tyres, suspension,
brakes, etc.
