Is there a way to disable mechanical failures ???

Just when you are comfortable in you car, say lap 5(!)

BANG!!! good-bye clutch.

VERY-VERY silly when learning

how to race the thing ...

try the novice setting, it will get you no damage as shown on the selection
screen. pro gets some damage, gp gets full damage

You still get failures (at least I bl**dy do! :-) but you can Sh'Ftah and
recover.
