How is the Dexxa wheel/pedal combo?

I'm looking at the Dexxa wheel combo for my work pc (shut up!)

I use a Logitech wheel at home and I'd like a cheap wheel
at work but something that will do GPL esp.

any thoughts?

You must be a real funny guy, Tony :-)
The Dexxa package is both cheaper and better than your Logitech Wheel FF or
Non FF package.
You know why?
The pedals on your Logitech is useless!.
The Dexxa pedals is the best I've ever tried even if it's cheap stuff!.
Had a TM wheel for years pretty good then I bought the Dexxa...then a week
later another one just in case :-)
Have modified it a bit to make it harder to turn, but It is VERY GOOD endeed
and very cheap too. Have in total bought 5 Dexxa's in total for racing
friends and their all happy. It's also very easy to maintain (important to
me).

Sorry to jump in the middle here, but Hans - I can hold my own just
fine in GPL with my pus...feets on my "useless" pus...pedals. ;)

Seems to me, the travel of the Logitech pedals has become
disproportionately legendary.  I find the rig far better than
adequate.  I have never tried, nor seen, the Dexxa wheel.

It's nice too see that you don't take my strong words too seriously, Brett
:-)
Even me knows that the Logitech Wheel is a quality wheel and I wanted one
myself,
but when I tried the pedals I left the thought quickly. Had my Dexxa for a
month now
and driven alot with it and all I can say is that it has been a real
pleasure to use it.
99% accurate when calibrating, and a 220 degree turn which is just about
enough for GPL.
The pedals must be mounted on a wooden plank or some base which keep them in
place,
but when their stuck they gives an impressive precision under braking.
I never thought I would manage to get down to same lap times with a
wheel/pedal package
as I did with the GP1 wheel but I was totally wrong and I even still use the
same foot on the brake
as the accel switching back and forth. Straight down to 1.05 at Glen from a
1.07 with the GP1.
