I use the Per4mer wheel and CH pedals which is a pretty inexpensive
combination.  If there is a Circuit City near by, they carry the T2 by
Thrustmaster for about $100.  Otherwise, check at CompUSA if there is
one around, also possibly in the software stores they have in the local
malls, such as Electronics Boutique or Software ETC.  Hope this is a
help!

Why not build your own you can find all sorts of plans on the net. Just
sort through a bunch of plans pick out what you like and build it. I did
and it works great. I ended up with about $35.00 in it. Besides it was more
fun to build then watching the hogs eat my little brother.

My response would be to make them youself, it is much more fun and you
will have a sense of achievement. If you have a welder and some
electronics knowledge it is a two weekend job and you will have a
great, personal setup for under $20 (not including steering wheel :),
mine a $60 FFord jobbie..). Start at Wally's page
http://www.oz.net/~wottenad/wheel.htm for some ideas and circuit
knowledge and then have a look around the WWW for some ideas about the
actual mechanics.

Mail me if you need any inspiration.... They may be rough but they
will outlast me (and a nuclear holocaust probably !!!!)

Could you give me some info on the Per4mer wheel? I haven't heard of
that one. Thanks,

Marc
