Hi,

Does anyone use the Gravis Gamepad on Nascar 1. If you do, can you send me
some setups for Talladega and Dover. I can't seem to find any that work.
Also, if you don't want to send me some setups just reply to me and we can
collaborate on our setups so we can get faster. I know some one out there
races with a gravis gampad or something similar.

C-ya,

John O.

If it's the controller I'm thinking of, you simply cannot make it work
well with our game. (And yes, I know we bundled our game with it at
one point, and I firmly believe that was a horrible, horrible
decision...)

(For those who don't have one, it's an "analog" joystick that reports
digital inputs. i.e. the possible values for the left/right axis are
only three (LEFT, NEITHER, RIGHT) There is no smooth range, and thus
the controller is worthless for our games...)

I'll vouch for that.  You might as well be using the keyboard.  (After six
months of that my wrists were in a little pain, hurray Thrustmaster)

I agree.  The Gravis Gamepad is digitally operated.  It will not work
smoothly with any Nascar or Indycar game.  You need an analog joystick
or just buy a Thrustmaster Wheel.  They are awesome and the company
support is awesome!!!
