I was thinking of getting one of the Rendition/Verite cards myself, but have
since changed my mind.  They appear to be very picky about DMA.
I was told by Sierra that they sometimes have problems with Cyrix
cpu's.  I've never before run into any compatability problems with the
Cyrix... sounds to me more like a problem with the Rendition cards
themselves rather than the Cyrix.  And from your post it sounds as
though its more than just Cyrix users, Intel also.

I decided that I'll try the Monster3d.(I would have ordered a Righteous3d
but everyone is sold out of them).
