Make sure your patching with 1.0 to 1.2 and not 1.1 to 1.2
Always patch a fresh install of the game! It makes life so much easier :)

If you have an FTP program, (bulletproof, cuteftp, etc.), you can download
from sierra's ftp server: <ftp.sierra.com/pub/patches/pc/>
| I did a clean install 4 times!!! AS for the CaRT version, I have the same
CD
| I bought as soon as it came out. As for the controller, I disabled it, but
| still had the same problems. Could someone send me the Portland
Qualace.stg,
| that way I could finish the patching and then update it to the Win
version.

Go create a .stg and name it "qualace.stg" badda bing you're done.
