Is it possible to race  F1 2000 online?

Yes it is, but there seems to be no matching service for it (as VROC is
for GPL). You need to enter the host IP manually, and then it works.
I've only tried it with one other player, and it worked great, but worse
results were reported with more than two players.

I have a lot experience with it. And the experiences are very different. It
works when people are living near each other. When you are playing with
people from all over the world then the connection is in 90% of the cases
terrible. Sometimes it works, but then you see cars flying and melting in
the tarmac.
If you wanna play with some guys, you should register yourself at
www.mplayer.com
There are many guys over there who wanna play this game (this server was
normally for Official Formula 1 Racing). Now you can meet them there. So
find one who lives near you. For example in the same country. That should
work.

But when it works, its is awsome!!!
