F1 2000 race story...

I've been having a long debate with someone about how good F1 2000 is.
Personally I'd give it about 65-75%, but they seemed so sure it was better I
re-installed it and gave it another try.
All the following hapenned on the very first race at Monza.
Let's see, on the formation lap (which for some reason the game doesn't let
you drive) there was a 6 car pile up!  I suppose if my car had been one of
these that would have been race over.  Next my car gets to the grid and
there's a 30 second (I kid you not) wait for the next car to show up.  As
the rest of the grid pulls up I notice 6 cars going into the pits
(presumably the 6 that spun) which are then allowed out again and continue
on their way round the lap.
Ok, so it's possible they would have been docked a lap, so they weren't
actually in the first 6 places (I didn't care enough to find out), but
either way, this is not acurate to the F1 rules.
Next the start and Eddie Irvine in a Jaguar leads into turn one!  Hmm...I
don't think so, but still, I suppose it could happen.  Only two AI crashes
on lap one, which is low for this game and as I come round to start lap 2 I
find about 8 cars still sat motionless on the grid  !!! At the end of lap 2
they are still there as well !
At which point I quit and un-install the game.
Next please... :)

Get the anti-spin patch from www.bhmotorsports.com.

That will make you a happy camper.
