N3, Multiplayer & Cable Modems?

by n1asca » Mon, 15 Jan 2001 23:31:16

Wondering if there is a trick to get N3 or NL to work on Multiplayer if i'm
using a cable modem setup such as "Roadrunner".
I go into Multiplayer and it either locks up or it says it can't find a WON
server when I try to connect.
I can play Multiplayer on services such as MS Zone (Crimson Skies) with no
problem at all.
I think I'm missing something but not sure what. Any help would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Kris C

Are you using zone alarm or any other firewall.

Disable it while in Nascar or set it so Nascar is allowed open access.
