Phillip also ommitted that the dial-up server is hard to find-
You need to open my computer/dial-up networking and one of the pull-down
menus will have dial-up networking as an option.
Also, you should have the one making a new dial-up connection
(a wizard the the dial-up folder) make sure software compression
is turned off on the dial-up he's going to use(under properties).
This type pf connection is a 100 times more stable than the internet.
