GPL-Voodoo3 Users,Help Please

Hi ,
I've just set my son up with my old computer and graphics card p3 voodoo3
3000 .
GPL used to run fine for me on that old system in high resolution but once i
upgraded my Graphics card and then my computer i've forgotten what patches i
need ,i have it running but only in 640 res any suggestions on what i
missing please.

Could you have forgotten to set the 3D renderer to "3Dfx" perhaps, maybe
it's running in "software mode" ?

You need the George Smiley glide patch.  Set the mirrorupdate=2 and
resolutionoverride=1 and in GPL set the driver to 3dfx and the mirrors at
cars only with about 1/2 detail slider setting, and it will run like a champ
at 1280x1024.

Thanks for replying Guys,i used to have the smiley glide patch,unfortunately
i have lost it,did search to no avail on the web,if anyone would be kind
enough to email me the file i would be very grateful
