Since I've added my Voodoo3 card I have to shut down Creative Launcher
for GPL to run.  When I was using a rendition card this was not a
problem.  Anyone else experiencing this.

Never had that problem, although I have a V3 with an SBLive.  If you
have LiveWare running in the background it might be causing this, since
it is known to cause some problems like freezes, etc, when running GPL.
I usually have the launcher running in the systray all the time, but I
don't run LiveWare in combination with anything since it does have that
reputation.  Also, check for any resource conflicts in the system.  Good

Yep, I no longer use the Creative Launcher.

For me, SBlive was fine until I downloaded the 3.0 upgrade.  Then Creative
Launcher wouldn't let me exit N3 or NL without rebooting my computer.  So, I
disabled Creative Launcher.

I found this problem as well but I soon disabled the Laucher programme & all
was well. I find it best not to have anything running in the background when
running Glide Apps as it seriously arses up everything.

Same problem with my PC.
Especially after visiting a Web site with midi and wave music the wave
volume in the system was automatically set to medium and I encountered
heavy frame stutter afterwards in GPL. I only could get rid of it when
removing the SB live from the device manager and reload it with the next
Windows start up. But even then I had frozen screens in GPL up to 5 sec
from time to time and you can imagine where I ended when the game
continues. Since I removed that ***y launcher I got rid of that shit.
