I am looking to download the demo of F1RS, and saw that it was available on
a french site. I downloaded it, and after installing it, was disappointed to
find that it only runs on a system with 3dFX. I have a Diamond Viper 330
AGP, so no go :((

Is a demo available which I can run? (Which is also joystick enabled - I
read the u.s. demo wasn't).

Boot magazine with the disc(#19) has the demo and it supports 3dfx and
direct3d. Ran pretty good but crashed alot.

It won't even run on my machine. I bought Boot just for the F1RS demo
and I get an invalid page fault right after the FIRS screen. I expect
it has something to do with my 2D cards drivers, but, I'm not going to
go back to Diamonds drivers just for one demo. What a waste of $9.00
Canadian. Boot magazine has nothing in it that I don't already know
and the reviews are vapid and biased towards arcade dreck. Although,
they did give F1RS a 9/10, the reviews are very short and lack depth.
