Why in N4 does the engine keep cutting out for a split second while
driving?? The thing sounds terrible and hurts performance.

I swear this game just keeps getting more and more dissapointing...

You honestly should understand the game before you get upset with it for
doing it.

You engine can be cutting out for a few reasons.. one is you are running out
of gas, but probably the reason yours is doing it is because you are hitting
the Rev Limiter. Tweak your gears a little bit or if you are not already in
4th gear, shift up.

Is this happening at all the tracks or just Daytona and Taledega? At these
tracks they run restrictor plates and will cut out around 7000 rpms.

You are are hitting the rev limiter, watch the rpm's, especially at the
restrictor plate tracks. Steve Paradise

I had the same problem. Turns out that the pot on my accelerator pedal is
going. In gpl it is unoticable, but in N4 it sounds like an electrical
problem.

Mine was doing it also in the demo.
I went from a T2 to a Pro Digital 2 Thrustmaster and the problem was solved.
It could be the pots in your steering wheel IF you are using one.
Try playing the game using the keyboard and see if it goes
away..............
