The lead pack wasnt having any passing troubles that I saw or was aware of
and I was actually in the lead pack for most of the race.  I dont remember
you being around us much.  When racing for the lead at Tona you have to
expect 3 wide at any time any place.   I would say you need to experience
some "lead pack" before you can comment ;)

Good news that the index finger & thumb are ok, they're the most
important ones! But don't be surprised if it's much longer than 4 or 5
races before you're able to use that hand for much.

Good luck John.

I would say you did not read my posts.  Listen, this is getting rediculous.
Mitch, if you watch the replay you may understand the posts.  The lead pack
only passed me once, I was as high as I could be on the track and TWO cars
moved up into me and ran me into the wall.  I am really sick of this
treatment.
Drop this thread now and I will drop my membership in RASCAR.  I have more
fun on Papy servers for god's sake.  I have done plenty of three wide racing
online, in the lead pack and not had too much trouble with it.  I have one
hell of a lot more trouble in RASCAR races.

Later,

The doctors are pretty sure I should get 100% use back, but it'll
take anywhere from 6 - 9 months.  I tend to heal pretty quick, so I'm
hoping for the lower number. :)

As you've probably guessed, you and Eldred are gonna have to take
over membership patrol until i'm a bit further down this road.

Surprisingly, I haven't had much pain at all, but I've got a five-
pound plaster cast on that arm, and sometimes it's difficult to find
a comfortable position for it.

Ouch!  Sorry to hear that, man...  I hope you heal up ok, with no permanent
damage.

>Oh yeah, and you have yourself all in a huff because you misread my original
>post.

"In a huff"?  You don't know me very well, do you?  You even admitted that your
original message had an attitude.  Then you asked me a question, which I
answered honestly.  I didn't say that I would *always* feel uncomfortable
driving around you, only that I do now.  Do you even bother to read what I say,
or do you just stay on the defensive because others have questioned your
driving in the past?
We haven't thrown anybody out over driving skill, or even personality
conflicts.  I have no intention of making you the first.  Just drive safely,
have fun, and we'll all get along.

Courtesy means only quoting those parts of the posting you're
replying to and *refraining* from top-posting, but I won't repeat
that here. Er, now, did I? We have enough TOFU's in this group
already! ;-)

Cheers,

Eldred, you are overreacting. You're projecting your own lack of confidence
onto Sean.

You can't know exactly what someone is going to do on a race track. You can
get a feel for it due to experience, but you can't *KNOW*. If I gave you a
hypothetical situation involving you and me you couldn't *reason* out how it
would play out.

If you go into racing situations with conscious preconceptions of what is
going to happen you are going to be late responding to them even if it plays
out as you thought you would (because you're second guessing yourself). I.e.
it ends badly for you.

Quit worrying about what is going to happen and just respond to what does
happen. Cut the conscious mind out of the loop. Have the *CONFIDENCE* to
trust yourself as a racer.

I trust you too and I trust myself around you. I am more wary around Sean
because my gut feeling about him isn't fully developed yet, but I trust him
to be in the races.

Jan.
