GPL and SLI

GPL's 3Dfx rasterizer determines the list of 'available' resolutions
based on the amount of memory it detects on the card.  However Voodoo2
cards only support up to 1024x768 (resolutions above 1024x768 should be
possible with the Banshee provided it has enough onboard memory).

GPL and SLI

I have just got another Creative 12Mb Voodoo2 to go with my first one
and I see 1280xSomething and 1600x1200 resolutions in the options in GPL
but when I select them I get a momentary little hours glass (like it's
done it) my monitor clicks and I get shoved in 640x480 mode. Also is
their a 36fps limit in GPL? I now get 36 fps all the time but never more
and I was getting 36fps before, though not all the time. I have Windows
98, a PII 400MHz, 128Mb RAM and the lastest 3dfx drivers installed. The
Voodoo2 options say that it has detected SLI but only shows resolutions
up to 1024x768. My monitor supports these resolutions but at 60Hz - I
can live refresh rate. Need for Speed 3  looks phenomenal - worth having
just for the graphics alone but I really want GPL to work.
Please help me,
Thanks in advance,
Paul

i've your identical configuration but i can use mode 1024 x 768, but my
frame rate is 30. Which do you means for latest drivers of V2? Creative or
3dfx optimized for dx 6.1 core (ah.. i've win 98)?
