Not sure about the other ones but I don't think either of the traction
control settings are very realistic. We need Medium traction control.
Traction control High is pretty reliable and it seems to act fairly
realistically at first, but after playing around a lot with it I am
convinced that it will not let you push the rear tires hard enough. You can
see this in the tire temps at some tracks, and also if you go back and forth
from low TC to high TC and see what happens to the temps it is very clear.
Low TC isn't realistic either. It's very touchy and you still have to
modulate the throttle a lot. That's not realistic, there have been plenty
of comments from CART and F1 racers that when TC is properly set up you want
to step on it hard to make sure it engages because if it doesn't engage
quickly you will slide the tires. But in F1C with low TC stepping on it
hard will just make you spin.
Realistic shifting would be auto upshifting only.
