racing league or series that uses it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

And since your posting in rec.autos.simulators, I figured you have interest
in hard-core racing simulators. Go with Grand Prix Legends in that case. If
not, I would suggest Monaco GP Racing Sim 2, by Ubisoft. Its less hard-core
than GPL, and appeals more to the mass gamers. GPL btw represent the 1967
Formula 1 season. And it's not Johnny Herbert F1, the guy was joking. You
know... some people don't like to help.

Knowing this NG as I do, I was pretty sure someone would correct me b4 this
fella bought a lame game. ;)
In hindsight, maybe recommending GPL to start with would have started an
even longer thread!

Johnny Herbert Racing! What the hell kind of troll is that? If you want
ultra realistic 1960's F1 racing get Grand Prix Legends. If you want
a great modern F1 game then get Ubisoft's Formula 1 game. Either
F1RS or MGPRS2.
Johnny Herbert Racing, hahaha boy that is a good one!

Anyway, what are the diffs between F1RS and MGPRS2? Does the latter have
better graphics and realism? And what type of series does either game have
using it?
Thanks again.

WINDOWS 2000
Redmond, WA, U.S.A. - Microsoft announced that the official
release date for the new operating system "Windows 2000" will be
delayed until the second quarter of 1901.
Heheheh ;-)
MGPRS2 could had been renamed as F1RS98. It's an updated version, with some
fixes here and there, but without a FIA License. I would say get MGP. It
ships with easy editors that make it easy to re-create the teams and so.
But of course, IMHO it would say get GPL, since MGP (even if it's better
than F1RS) is close to a pile of shite in realism and accuracy ;)

: MGPRS2 is the sequel of F1RS. Graphics and the physics engine have
: been slightly improved, a career modus was added, but Ubisoft didn't
: get the official FIA license, so you got fantasy cars (which can be
: fixed easily via the Internet).
and they had to make some slight changes to the courses due to licensing.
Adverts can be fixed, but I believe some major things are missing as well,
like the signature bridge at Spain.
