Its not optimized for a 3 card at all you can tell that by the graphics.
Crammond made it for software then just added on the 3d card support as an
after thought...
He obviosly doesnt know how to use a 3d card
He optimised the game for software users all 1% of them
He still thought it was 96

Look OK to me, could have been better but OK, and on my 366 oc'd to
567 with TNT2 Ultra Running at 31.* FPS (Using the FPS hack) it***s
along in 1024 x 768 apart from the first corner.

Does not seem optimised for your machine, have you checked drivers etc

If you had it set to random, then it does exactly what it says on the
tin, its random, anyone can win! Also if you have the AI setting to "all
the same" anyone can win, cos the AI are all the same! You will only get
1998 like performances if you select 1998 levels.

25fps with PO under 100% almost always. What system do you have? how is
it set-up? (eg: is it optimised for games?)

Yeah right, and you do, like I said, runs great on my 3dfx card,
and plenty of others are getting good performance too.

i dont think its possible to expireince what a race weekend is like when the
game runs like crap... it seems a little bit strange to me that gp3's hardware
requirements are twice that of gpl, yet the game is nowhere near gpl's quality.
 the non-*** f1 fans your talking about probably dont have 800mhz PCs.

also does anyone else think its ass backwards for the game to run WORSE with 3d
acceleration.  that just says BAD coding to me...

Yes, I basically like GP3. Particularly now I've got my wheel set
up to suit my driving style, which took a lot of fiddling. (Not
the game's fault - it was perhaps not too smart to install a
brand-neww FF wheel - the first I've owned - and a brand new game
at the same time.)

Now if he could just figure out how to map keyboard commands to
the wheel buttons...  Logitech's Profiler doesn't seem to work
for this...  :(

Anyone know the answer?
