I can only agree with you. In my list of requirements/likings for any
sim, the following three share the top spot :
- quality physics engine
- online multiplayer
- 3d acceleration (D3D/OpenGL since I have a TNT :))
No doubt GP3 will have a top physics engine, and 3d acceleration (though
I only really care for the performance boost it provides).
But the online multiplayer is something different. As I never ever race
GPL offline, and have never raced against its AI, you can imagine my
feelings towards the currently reported GP3 specs. If the lack of online
multiplayer is still suffered by the final release, I won't even consider
buying GP3.
