MX300 With N2?

A friend talked me into installing N2 and NROS to try the free racing.
I am using an MX300, and can't seem (and not sure) if it will work in
DOS mode.   I have the lines in my autoexec.bat for dos support.  (I
think it is suppose to have some sort of a dos emulation mode.)  
Any tips, or can anyone confirm it does or doesn't work.
