MX300 killed my Wingman Formula Force???

by Galle » Thu, 24 Dec 1998 04:00:00

I picked up an MX300 soundcard, and after a few hours, (grrrr), it
works...sort of.  CD audio works OK, but that's it.
Anyways, the WFF is showing up as "not connected" in the game controllers
panel.    The left "power" light is lit.  Could this be related to the
soundcard install???  I've checked everything I could think of.  Thanks.

Its probably that your device is still thinking its connected to the windows
standard gameport, go into the game controllers in control panel and then
the advance tab, then you'll see the PORT DRIVER ASSIGNMENT change that to
your monster sound and you shuold be set.

I hooked my Sidewinder pad back up, and it worked fine when I assigned it to
the Monster gameport.  The WFF is hooked up via USB, so I have chosen "none"
under port.  At least that is how it worked before.
