Where?
There's this Alianz Insurance infomercial which camouflages itself as an F1
"background" magazine over here. Name escapes me at the moment as it's utter
crap, but the only entertaining bit I happened to catch was Ralf kite fly a
car around Spa in the game.
Looked pretty comfortable to me... he's used to driving sims IMO.
Jan.

Montoya was playing F1 2001 at the Australian GP this year. It was on a big
projector screen in front of an audience and TV cameras. He wasn't overly
impressive, but probably more impressive than I'd be in an F1 car for the
first time.

"Verburg: Mentioned a number of times in different press releases is the
co-operation with the BAR team. Usually the drivers of the team get a chance
to try out the game and they say "great" and that's it. Did you get
worthwhile suggestions from the BAR team (and how was this implemented in
the game) and did you get any other help from them?
JHawkins: Some stuff I simply can't say here - we did get lot's of help from
BAR and other teams also - from pretty much all levels - especially the
modelling guys. In terms of the drivers saying great and that's it, I can
tell you it's not like that. I am in regular contact with BAR still -
actually just spoke to some of their guys today.
Verburg: That is very apparent in the game, the cars look incredibly
realistic.
JHawkins: I really meant dynamics and performance modelling rather than
visuals - although they did help there also."
"Verburg: Good selection there :) Ok, one last question to top it of and
then we'll open the questions to our visitors. I heard from a very reliable
source you got beat at F1 2001 by Zonta? ;)
JHawkins: Reliable Source - Ummmmm! I'm naturally a competitive person but
have to admit he did beat me on camera (on the second attempt I actually ran
out of fuel on my last lap). At the end of the week I was half a second
faster - he was very good - scarily good."

Yeah, look at the detail level - appalling. The frame rate was fairly bad
too when I saw it. It's also a well known fact that it's impossible to use
Logitech pedals properly when wearing shoes. ; )

It's also a well known fact that it's impossible to use
ditto that.
