F1 2001 - Steering wheel LED's

F1 2001 - Steering wheel LED's

I read the manual and still did not find this explained. I am driving
the Jordon and am curious about the 3 LED's on the upper left
of the wheel just below the rpm LED's.

I think the one on the right is red if you are supposed to pit,
and maybe flashing if they are setting up for you. The one
in the middle may be the flag situation. What is the left most
one? Heck, if someone knows what all 3 are that would be
cool too.

Also, during a quick race, I did not hear my team manager on
the radio telling me to pit. According to the instructions I thought
I would hear that. I certainly did in F1 2000/ F1 2000 CS.

thanks!

I race the Ferrari and I believe the LED's are paired so the top two flash
red for pit lane rev limiter, the middle two turn green when you call for a
pit stop, and I don't know what the bottom two do (are there 3 pairs or 2, I
can't recall without seeing it and the colored buttons on my MOMO wheel are
actually confusing me).  Anyone?

There are also flag LED's, page 9 in the manual explains those.

A close-up picture of the wheel in the manual would have been smart.  Can
some kind soul take a screen capture of the most popular wheels and label
them?  I'll be happy to take the screen captures and send them to whoever
knows how to label the damn things. ;0)

I can barely read the numbers on the LCD anyway.  :(
Also, I don't see my laptime as I complete a lap.  Oh, I'm sure it's *there*,
but it disappears before I get a chance to squint down at the wheel to try to
read it.  No, I *haven't* pored through the manual yet...  Is it in
there(larger display or lap times)?

if it was like the display in F1CS2k, then the lap timer changes so fast
you rarely get a chance to see how fast your lap was.  Almost as soon as you
cross the s\f line the lcd display changes to the first split 'time to
beat'.  However, if you are patient, near the end of the lap the lcd will
display your best time overall and that will at least give you the mark to
shoot for.  If you know you turned a faster lap, the new time for the last
split will be it.
